![]() Clean installs are a little tiring! After the last kernel panic, booting in iBoot with -x resulting in a grey Mac screen with spinning flywheel (not colour spinner) for eternity so just clean reinstalled again. I have no experience editing in Terminal, hence the clean fresh updates after the kernel panics I have no idea how to "undo" previous actions. To my friends I'm a computer geek that can fix most basic problems but on here I'm over at the shallow end, on the edge dipping my toe in. From fiddling with 386s years ago I switched to Mac, and with my 12" powerbook now creaking, decided to give the Mac x86 a blast. I tried with a few extra options in Multibeast (particularly the 5xxx graphics option) and hit another kernel panic, and then did another clean fresh install with no advanced options selected. I then tried the Mac Graphics Update, resulting in a kernel panic and a clean fresh install. As noted in discussions (after purchase!) the 5670 graphics card only seems to work in 1024x768 resolution, which is frankly not good enough for a 23" screen.
